Is it really ok to allow teachers to choose whether or not they incorporate modern technologies into their instruction?

I believe that it is more than appropriate for teachers to use technology in their classrooms. Using technology in the classroom and teaching students how to use technology is essential because the whole world is becoming more and more dependant on technology everyday. Technology must be taught in order to give students the skills to make them competitive candidates for jobs in today’s workplace. Teachers should focus on creating a way to teacher students how to use technology while also learning proper people skills. One fear that I have is that with the advancement of technology, sometimes students do not learn how to interact properly with people in person. Hopefully, teachers can come up with a way to teach students both skills!
